Probably my favourite The Prodigy album, easily the most sentimental. My 6th birthday was in the same month this got released and I will never not forget running around a bouncy castle with World's On Fire playing before the party started. The title track is sooo good, straight slaps and is a crazy opener that sets the whole album up. Omen is also so good, love it so much to the point there isn't much to say about it other than it puts a smile on my face. Thunder is so good, vocals are pretty neat but the instrumental just has bits where I'm like wowwww. Colours is similar although I don't vibe with the lyrics as much as Thunder the last 1/4 goes crazy.
Take Me to the Hospital I don't like as much like what are you even singing about, it sounds cool to make up for it. Glad it isn't too long. Warriors Dance is cool and I think I feel similarly to Colours where I'm not 100% on it. Run With the Wolves is probably my least favourite, I just don't like the vibe of it. It still sounds cool but I just don't like the vocals/lyrics but it's not a bad song, just not my vibe. I am such a sucker for reprises and Omen (Reprise) is no exception, it sounds even better than the original to the point where I wish we got a remix of Omen in the style of the reprise, so good.
As stated at the start World's on Fire is such an iconic song to me, it's so cool. There is enough variety in it to not get bored because like other tracks in the album there isn't a lot of different lines. I just love it, can never not have a smile on my face thinking about how much I loved it as a kid. Piranha is my fave out of the ones I hadn't properly listened to before, there is just something so fun about it, teeth grip razor sharp is so catchy. Stand Up is a really nice closer, just sounds cool and like it's meant to be a closer.
Love this album so much, thank u Dad. Awesome 6th birthday.
