It's alright, not their best but it's not bad. It's a different vibe. I don't know how to feel about spitfire, I like it but also it sounds like a mix between the ocean and mushroom biome music from Terraria with the "I'mma put my cat on the mic" video. Still pretty cool nonetheless, I just wouldn't put it on a playlist or around others. Girls is pretty good, doesn't blow my socks off but the ending is cool. Memphis Bells is alright but does not grip me. Get Up Get Off is a bit between the two where it's weird in the negative way but also kind of slaps.
Hotride is probably my favourite from the album, only one I'd go out of my way to have on on it's own. Wake Up Call is sort of the same as the others where it's cool but feels like just another song in the album. Action Radar is quite cool, fixes my issue with stuff like Wake Up Call in that it has a bit more identity than the others. Medusa's Path is alright, Phoenix is alright, You'll Be Under My Wheels is alright. I like the little beepy tune in The Way It Is, probably the clearest non vocal sample they have used with Thriller in this. Shoot Down is pretty cool although (again) it's something that I feel only really exists in this album, only just realised its Liam Gallagher doing the vocals.
It's not my least listened to album but is out of the few my dad had before I bought the rest of their albums, I kind of feel like it would end up being the least or second least listened if I started out with all of them.
