Us and Them

Shinedown

Hard Rock, Post Grunge

The Dream is a cool opener but it could have transitioned into the first real track a bit better. I feel like I am repeating myself from the last album because, again, a couple of the first tracks are good and sort of memorable like if the entire album was more of the first four tracks it might be a bit better, but their problem is also everything sounds the same.

Lady So Divine has some good guitar in it and some of the chords remind me of one a song from the Rimworld soundtrack, it's an actually memorable song and that's crazy because it's followed by Shed Some Light. I did not care for that at all. The rest of the album was just background audio like the most memorable one of the last 5 was Fake and I'm not even a huge fan of it.

I did think it would be better than the last one and whilst it's stronger in some regards because they carry a similar sound throughout the album it just kind of gets tiring and I feel like I am going to say this for every one of their albums.
