How do I rate the Morning Sun? 9/10, it's a very good track and I like the reprise being the closer for the album, before when the first track has had a reprise on his other albums they haven't been very good tracks but this one is just nice. The start of Bodies where he goes "Yeah" makes me think of 😼 the smirk cat emoji, probably the song that I most associate Robbie with as I remember playing it a bunch when I was younger. You Know Me follows up well, really like that song too. I think this is his best first 3 tracks like extremely strong.
Blasphemy to Last Days of Disco are a bit above decent and basically good. I think Blasphemy is more in the realm of pretty good and the others are on the edge as Do You Mind is a bit too poppy and Last Days of Disco is sort of up my alley but it doesn't feel entirely right being from him. The rest of the album is sort of normal Robbie average, not bad or anything just alright. I do think this album could have easily been his best if the second half of the album was a bit better. I still like the album though it's just with him I feel like I might as well put on a compilation album.
