Life Thru a Lens

Robbie Williams
73/100
first
Britpop, Pop Rock

Opening with Lazy Days which is a bit too popslop of a track that I'm not too fond of, the two tracks after are alright and then BAM hit with Angels. What a track. South of the Border is just eh and Old Before I Die barely scrapes by. Baby Girl Window is an alright closer. Hello Sir is a nice secret track especially for a debut album. Let Me Entertain you is another one that's a highlight, it's just weird how everything else is not on that level other than Angels. Maybe I am spoilt for albums where all the songs are consistently good but it really feels like all the eggs are in one basket with the 2 main singles and the rest of the album is just alright. I hope this is just an issue with this album as it's the first one, I will soon find out if that's the case.
