A decent album following up from ...Like Clockwork, QOTSA certainly haven't lost their charm but whether it's not clicked with me yet it's back down to the level of Lullabies and Era Vulgaris. Albums that are good and compose of all great songs but not outstanding like Rated R, SftD or ...Clockwork. That doesn't mean it's bad or average as It's far from that I am just being picky as I know they are capable of perfect.
Feet Don't Fail Me is my favourite song on this as it slaps. I don't know how to explain it but The Way You Used to Do sounds like a song that plays in the back of a car TV advert. I like Fortress, probably my second favourite. Like I said, all of the songs are great and there is certain things I like about all of them like when the closer Villains of Circumstance picks up halfway through. Nothing bad on the album. I think if I listen to it a bit more I'd prefer it too Lullabies.
