The Dark Side of The Moon is easily one of the greatest albums ever created, it was the album that originally got me more into music years ago when I saw a Pink Floyd tribute band and one of the albums that makes me extremely thankful that I now have some good headphones. It's an absolutely breath-taking perfect album. We (the British) may have done some messed up things but we nailed it when we invented Prog Rock.
There isn't a single track that is anywhere close to being average, Speak to Me is a great intro, Breathe is amazing, On the Run is great. Time speaks to my soul, like what an amazing track really digging deep emotionally into me. The Great Gig in the Sky is phenomenal and something that is breath-taking when seen live whether that be a tribute act or a Roger Waters concert. Money completes the trifecta of the best 3 run in any album, it's such a jam. Us and Them is a beautiful war song and the transition into Any Colour You Like is crazy. Brain Damage/Eclipse I wish I could listen to more but because they are separate tracks I can never have them on playlists.
I think it's in a league of it's own and the only album that I can think that is even more perfect would be Wish You Were Here but that shouldn't detract from how great this album is. I really don't think any amount of worlds will demonstrate how much I love this album and the grip that Time has on me. Truly a perfect album.
