My album of the year, gutted I didn't buy it when it came out because I robbed myself of experiencing it for months.
Disease fucks, I think it's really good and then it just gets to the point to where it's so peak like one of those tracks that you love on full volume. Abracadabra I do quite like but initially wasn't really a huge fan of because of the intro and the chorus when I first heard bits of it, it's soo good though when you actually listen to it. Does not stop when you get to the Garden of Eden because I also feel similar about that.
Perfect Celebrity I don't quite like that much, it's not terrible (not the same as some of the Artpop ones letting the album down) but even after 8 or so times I haven't grown to love it. Can't Stop The High is the same but it's like a sequel to Dope from Artpop like i do not care !!!! Vanish Into You makes up to it by being pretty nice and what I want out of the tracks in an album that aren't meant to be the main ones, just all around very decent.
I <3 Killah, I don't think I liked it that much the first time but it goes from being quite enjoyable to whatever it then becomes, I <3 it. Zombieboy I <3 more though. God I fucking love this track, it's such a bop. pur ur paws all over me u zombieboy. The bonus track version is so worth because you get The Dead Dance after this which (again like with a lot of the tracks) I thought it was kind of goofy and I still sort of believe that like it feels spiritually like stuff from The Fame/Monster but there is just something about it that makes it not hit the same note, still quite good.
LoveDrug, How Bad Do U Want Me, Don't Call Tonight I do quite like, this whole section of the album is just good but not standout. I do like the synths in HBDUWM. Kill for Love FUCKSSSS like it just sounds so good. Shadow of a Man and The Beast are quite good, The Beast especially as it's not really a song I'd randomly put on but I am always quite happy when it comes on in the album. Blade of Grass makes me think about the Terraria sword every time I listen to it so I can't take it seriously, still quite like it.
Die with a Smile is so good, really good. What a great duet, there isn't really much I can say because it't just plain great. What a track to end on, thank u for making the bonus tracks be INSIDE the album rather than all at the end, the pacing is so much better and the final track can really be the final track.
I don't think it's perfect and I'd probably rate Alive in the Catacombs higher as a 2025 album but it's a live performance EP whilst this is a whole new Gaga album.
