This will always hold a special place in my heart because it is the first time I have been present for a music launch. Every other album I have listened to I have listened well after it has come out and haven't ever got to experience the feeling and hype of a new album from a band that I am currently listening to. I was obsessed with this last year like I pre ordered the notebook edition of the CD, bought tickets to see them for this year, set my phone background to the album art and even bought tickets to experience this album 2 days early in the cinema. I don't think I will be that obsessed about something coming out for a while but this was something special as it was a first, this does make me look at this more fondly than the others because of that but I do think it can stand on it's own and doesn't have the pitfalls MoTS Vol. I had.
I like the title track, it's very Pink Floyd's The Wall inspired from the instrumental, the mention of being "a brick in the wall" and asking if "anyone is out there?". feelslimeimfallinginlove and WE PRAY are both tracks that I listened to sooo much like on repeat non stop but as time has gone on I'm not that amazed by them, I do think they are still good but not quite as good as I remembered. I like JUPiTER and it makes me think of that gif of a duck dancing. GOOD FEELiNGS I love like it is definitely trying to be a radio hit but like it slaps like you just can't hate it. Track 6 is really good like the first half just sounds cool but the second is just reallly beautiful.
iAAM I'm not entirely fond of like it's definitely the weakest track. AETERNA is such a banger and probably my favourite from the album, it just sounds so cool although if you HATED the voice from Cry Cry Cry / Biutyful I get why you might not be entirely fond of it. ALL MY LOVE can maybe get a bit whiney. ONE WORLD is a very nice closing track, it's no Coloratura but it does come sort of close. In the end it's just love.
The Notebook Edition of the album is pretty neat I do quite like the little voice memos of the in development versions of each of the tracks but like I LOVE the voice memo for Alien hits/radio like it's so cool and deffo the one most different from the final track it just sounds super neat. I prefer this extra content over bonus tracks that would have just been put out to streaming sites a few days later, it's insignificant enough to be kept unique but cool enough to be worth it.
