I used to hate it because it was forgettable (even more so than X&Y) but wow it feels good on the ears with headphones, Always In My Head just sounds really nice, same for Magic. Ink is a bit different though because I feel like the vocals are a bit too loud and I'm not a huge fan of the lyrics, True Love is a bit similar to where it sounds nice but just doesn't grip me. Both of those tracks are definitely the weakest bit of the album.
Midnight is a nice song like I feel like this is more of what the album should have leaned into, not focusing on the lyrics that much but just a good audio experience, it delivers so well in that regard. Another's Arms is also similar to that where it just sounds nice and the lyrics are very simple, Oceans is a bit similar to that although much less gripping HOWEVER the end of the song redeems it by both just sounding nice and also providing a good transition to A Sky Full of Stars. I do think that's a big reason as to why I don't dislike the track because it doesn't feel forced in. It's obviously meant to be the big single from the album but that transition and having it at the end of the album really helps. Banger of a track and I feel like it's going to be so cool to experience live in a couple of months. O is a nice closer, I think it's the first time they have done a hidden track with a large gap.
